Dr. Katherine Sheets returned to her hometown to open Sheets Chiropractic & Wellness in 2016. We are privileged to serve Sigourney and the surrounding area with current chiropractic and wellness care for your entire family. Our Services
Our treatments are designed to address a variety of musculoskeletal concerns, from chronic pain to sports injuries. We specialize in spinal adjustments, decompression therapy, soft tissue therapies, and personalized treatment programs to promote healing and restore balance. Adjustments
Adjustments of the spine and extremities focuses on realigning the spine and joints to reduce pain and improve mobility. This gentle, hands-on approach supports the body’s natural healing process. We practice Palmer Package and utilize Activator techniques when warranted.
Decompression Therapy
We utilize a Triton Decompression Traction System. The Triton DTS table is a computerized, non-surgical spinal decompression therapy used to treat back and neck pain from bulging/herniated discs, sciatica and stenosis by gently stretching the spine to create negative pressure, drawing disc material in and promoting healing.

Sports injuries can impact performance and daily life, but our chiropractic care is designed to promote healing and prevent recurrence. By combining targeted adjustments with rehabilitation techniques, we help athletes recover faster and enhance their physical well-being.
Pregnancy, labor and delivery can be hard on a newborn and may prevent communication from working in the body. Signs could be irritability, trouble latching, digestion problems, spitting up, difficulty sleeping and constipation to name a few. Older kids could show signs like bed wetting, trouble focusing and immune challenges. Chiropractic care for infant and children is safe and effective. With regular, gentle chiropractic care, the communication signals improve and symptoms are reduced allowing the body to function better.
Dr. Sheets has extensive training in techniques to assist during pregnancy including The Webster Technique, which is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment with a goal to reduce the effects of subluxations and/or SI joint dysfunction. Correcting these problems may have a positive effect on uterine function, pelvic contractions and baby positioning.
